What This Coloring Page Features

The wonderful world of Super Mario Odyssey is packed with delightful characters, iconic items, and breathtaking landscapes, and our collection captures all of that excitement on paper! When you look through these pages, you will find Mario donning his classic red cap, but with a special twist—his trusty companion, Cappy! Cappy is the magical top hat with big, expressive eyes that helps Mario capture objects and enemies throughout the game.

Along with Mario and Cappy, these coloring sheets feature a variety of fun scenes. You might find pages showcasing the airship known as the Odyssey, soaring high above fluffy clouds. Other designs highlight famous foes like Bowser in his sharp wedding suit, cheerful locals from the Seaside Kingdom, or even the bouncy Power Moons waiting to be collected. Every sheet is a new scene from a grand adventure, waiting for your personal touch to make it truly shine.

Benefits of This Coloring Activity

Engaging with these creative coloring sheets offers a fantastic basket of benefits for growing minds and hands. First and foremost, coloring helps children develop fine motor skills. As little fingers grip crayons or paintbrushes and carefully stay inside the lines of Mario’s mustache or Cappy’s brim, they are building hand strength and finger dexterity.

Additionally, this activity sparks cognitive growth and concentration. Choosing which colors go where encourages decision-making and visual-spatial awareness. It is also a wonderfully calming activity that promotes mindfulness, helping kids unwind after a busy day of school or play. By focusing on filling a page with bright hues, children can practice patience and experience a wonderful sense of accomplishment when their masterpiece is complete.

Click the download button to save the file, and print it out on sturdy standard paper or lightweight cardstock if you plan on using paints or markers.

Next, gather your art supplies. Crayons are fantastic for younger kids who want quick and easy coverage, while colored pencils allow older children to add fine details, shading, and texture to Mario’s overalls. If you are feeling extra adventurous, try using watercolor paints to create a soft, dreamy background sky, or grab some glitter glue to make those Power Moons sparkle!

Tips for Parents and Teachers

Laminate for Reusability: Slip the printed pages into clear plastic sheet protectors or laminate them so children can use dry-erase markers over and over again.
Incorporate Storytelling: Ask your child to tell you a story about what is happening in the picture while they color to boost literacy and narrative skills.
Create a Kingdom Display: Dedicate a wall or bulletin board in your home or classroom to create your very own “Super Mario Kingdom” art gallery.
Color Together: Sit down with your own page and color alongside your child to model creative techniques and enjoy quality bonding time.

Age Recommendations

These coloring activities are wonderfully versatile and can be enjoyed by a wide range of age groups! Toddlers and preschoolers (ages 3 to 5) will love the simpler designs featuring large outlines of Mario and Cappy, which help them practice basic motor control. Elementary school children (ages 6 to 9) can dive into the more intricate scenes, focusing on blending colors, staying within detailed patterns, and adding their own background drawings to expand the world of the Odyssey.
